50 miles of beautiful beaches...

Grand Bahama has the largest selection of accessible beaches over any other island of the Bahamas. Further, the Bahamas government prohibits ownership of beaches, thus all our beaches are FREE for you to enjoy. This is truly one of the great beach holidays that you can enjoy with your friends and loved ones. We will give you the full selection to choose from.

Gold Rock Beach Bahamas
While you stop to at the Lucayan National Park enjoy a unique beach. Bring your lunch and relax on the secluded stretch.
Paradise Cove
a couple watching the sunset on Paradise Cove Beach, Bahamas
In the western portion of the island, 30 minutes from Freeport / Lucaya is one of the only beaches you can swim out to a coral reef from. This is not recommended for the weak swimmers, but about 300 yards off-shore is a shallow coral reef.
Churchill Beach
Long stretch of beach in the Bahamas
This is also a secluded area with the advantage of having two very cool restaurant / bar close by. You can have your cake and eat it too!
Taino Beach
white sand beach with turquoist waters in the bahamas
Taino Beach starts across the channel from Port Lucaya and is a long beach along which you will find hotels, restaurants, water sports activities, and semi secluded sections.
Barbary Beach Beach
beach in the Bahamas
This beach is great for a out of the way picnic or party. There are no hotels or restaurants close by so make sure to bring whatever food or drink you might need while on the beach. There is snorkeling just off shore, but you'll probably want a car to get out there. About a 15 minute drive from Port Lucaya.
New Freetown Beach
man conching in West End, Grand Bahama
Definitely one of the most beautiful secluded beaches on the island. It's about 45 minutes form Freeport / Lucaya behind New Freetown near the old U.S. missile base.
